Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Elephants & Baobabs

Start your adventure with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. Drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its towering baobab trees and large herds of elephants. During your game drive, spot a variety of wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, and over 500 species of birds. The Tarangire River is a magnet for animals during the dry season, creating excellent viewing opportunities.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park – The Journey Begins

After breakfast, set off on a scenic drive toward the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Pass through the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands, with opportunities to stop for panoramic views. Enter the Serengeti in time for a late-afternoon game drive en route to your lodge or camp. Expect to see plains game, predators, and incredible open savannahs as you approach the heart of the wilderness.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park – Wildlife in Abundance

Spend the entire day exploring the vast Serengeti plains, famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration and abundant year-round wildlife. Begin with a sunrise game drive to catch predators on the move, followed by more photography and animal tracking throughout the day. With luck, you’ll encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and herds of buffalo in a single outing.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area – En Route Safari

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive as you leave the Serengeti. Continue through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with opportunities to spot more wildlife along the way. Stop at Olduvai Gorge (optional), an important archaeological site. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim or in nearby Karatu town in time for sunset over the highlands.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Safari – The Natural Wonder

Spend the day exploring the crater floor, where dense wildlife populations thrive—black rhinos, lions, elephants, and countless other species. After a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, ascend in the afternoon and return to your lodge.

Day 6: Return to Arusha – Farewell to the Wild
