Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your safari guide will greet you and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. Enjoy a relaxing evening at the foot of Mount Meru, preparing for your upcoming adventure into the wild.

Day 2: Arusha to Central Serengeti – Into the Heart of the Wild

After an early breakfast, take a scheduled flight or scenic drive into the Central Serengeti, the wildlife-rich heart of the park. This region offers year-round game viewing and is a predator stronghold. Enjoy your first thrilling game drive en route to your camp, where lions, leopards, cheetahs, and elephants are often seen.

Day 3: Central to Northern Serengeti – Journey Toward the Migration

Today, enjoy a long but rewarding drive or short flight to the Northern Serengeti, where the Mara River carves its way through golden plains. En route, witness a changing landscape and shifting wildlife patterns. As you arrive in the north, you’ll already begin to see massive herds of wildebeest and zebra, often clustered near the riverbanks.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti – Full Day at the Mara River

Spend the entire day tracking the Great Wildebeest Migration and waiting patiently near the Mara River for a dramatic crossing. In between crossings, enjoy rich wildlife encounters with lions, elephants, giraffes, and more.

Day 5: Northern Serengeti – Another Day at the River

Today offers another chance to witness the migration in motion. The timing of the river crossings is unpredictable, so having multiple days greatly improves your chances. Between migration sightings, explore the region’s scenic kopjes, open plains, and riverbanks, often teeming with predators waiting for opportunity.

Day 6: Northern to Central Serengeti – Wildlife and Wilderness

Enjoy your last full safari day with sweeping views and golden savannas.

Day 7: Serengeti to Arusha – Departure
