Your day begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha, followed by a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, enjoy views of Maasai villages, acacia-studded plains, and distant mountain backdrops.

Upon arrival at the park gate, your guide will handle registration while you get ready for an exciting day of game viewing. Once inside, the safari begins immediately. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and wide-open savannahs. Keep your eyes open for lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffaloes, and more than 500 bird species.

Midday, you’ll stop at a scenic picnic site within the park for a packed lunch, often with views over the Tarangire River, where animals come to drink. This is a great time to relax, enjoy the scenery, and spot wildlife nearby.

After lunch, continue with an extended afternoon game drive, exploring different ecosystems of the park—from wetlands to woodlands—each hosting its own wildlife activity.
